I'm only a little bit into the book. That's why 4 stars instead of 5. So far, it's good. I disagree on some of his nutritional advice (grain should be the bulk of our diet), but know his other nutritional advice is spot on (you need fat to survive).

Early in the book, he gives a detailed way to find out if a plant is safe to eat. Mentions cannibalism; he quotes a couple of people who seem to have different stances on it, and leaves it without an opinion of his own. His focus is on plants and animals.
