SURGES Outpourings in Haiyan/Yolanda's Wake is the World's 1st Published Literary and Visual Anthology compiling a keepsake selection of literature, art and photography that arose in the aftermath of history's worst supertyphoon to hit landfall. SURGES features in a 100-page full-color bilingual volume 53 articles from 49 writers, 6 artworks from 4 artists, and a host of photos from 25 photographers and media resources. Contributors came from different parts of the world covering solidarity and hope among humanity towards relief, recovery and rehabilitation of multitudes whose lives were devastated. The book chronicles stories and images of faith, hope and resilience amid tragedy, loss and pain in 3 Parts-- Part One: OUTPOURINGS FROM WITHIN; Part Two: OUTPOURINGS FROM THE DIASPORA; and Part Three: OUTPOURINGS FROM FOREIGN LANDS. This book is not for profit. Proceeds will go to the shelter component of the rehabilitation program of OPERATION HOPE: Transformational Ministry for Haiyan/Yolanda Survivors and other similar reconstruction efforts.
