Description

The trilogy by Alexander Ianov, a well-known historian and political thinker analyzes the roots and prospects of European cultural, philosophical and political traditions in Russia, and the roots of Russian nationalism. According to the author, Russia was born a European country, but it was later taken over by Eurasian traditions ("kholop" or serf traditions). The next four centuries the serf traditions were occasionally challenged but not for long.
