Description

This book describes the results of some experiments conducted on Ginkgo biloba L., Taxus baccata L., Magnolia grandiflora L. and Magnolia x soulangiana Soul.-Bod. A logical comprehensive discussion for each point is also provided and scientific explanations, evidences and arguments, if needed, are used to corroborate our deductions. Both conventional propagation (by seed and/or cutting) and modern propagation (by in vitro culture means) have been undertaken in the present study with respect to each of the aforementioned plant species. Hence, for better clarity and understanding, Each section of the Literature review, Materials and methods, and Results and discussion is subdivided into three sub-sections namely Taxus experiments, Ginkgo experiments and Magnolia experiments. Each section comprises different experiments conducted.
