The stretches included in the book work on every part of your body from the top of your head to the tips of your toes. Each exercise is presented in detail with a visual demonstration (pictures). I can't figure why the people in the pictures are smiling though, since I never smile while exercising (not my favorite activity, so I'm a tough critic here). The most heartening thing I read was: "Chronological age is something we don't have control over, but our biological age is one that we exert some control by the choices we make." So you do have a say in how well you age if you invest time in yourself... and this book shows you how. I noticed that a majority of the exercises involve being on the floor or on your knees which many older people can't manage. I also think that it may be easier to have the program in a video or even audio format, although running back and forth across the room to read the next step was also exercise, right? Another good point is that the author includes warnings about what you should not do when doing the exercises, such as tilting the head back during neck rolls which could put excess compression on the neck and spine. All of these tips are important and helpful.
