Paper Dreams

Paper Dreams is the first collection of writings from the writers in the Write to Heal groups at ACAP. The groups' emphasis is on a creative process that produces spontaneous, stream of consciousness written expression. Such an environment helps writers to drift backward in time to thoughts, feelings, images, and memories that seem to have been buried long ago but are still very much alive in the unconscious. Writers write to selected prompts and read aloud their work in a shared space that is safe and supportive. Through the beauty of the writing and the power of collective witnessing, we dream new selves into being.
