Steeples and People: Country Churches and Towns of Northcentral and Northeastern Washington

A photographic collection of regional history with over 80 rural churches found on the roads "less traveled by" in Northcentral and Northeastern Washington. Included are narratives of the history and services of each church, along with their town’s history and the town’s annual events that draw people together for hometown socials.

According to the photographer/author, "The central and eastern parts of the state of Washington continue to be a favorite place on earth with people who value their land, their past, their families, their neighbors, their communities, their churches, and the Lord."

View some of the oldest, the smallest, the biggest churches—showing diversified denominations and distinctive building designs—found only "off the beaten path" in the Inland Northwest.
