The art of Go: finding the strategical and tactical maneuvers that equally divide a section of the grid with respect to the whole grid via the principles of war. Objective - To help Go players: 1) Learn the basic language and elements of Go; 2) Understand what is happening on the Go grid: 3) Develop their Go analytical reading ability. When speaking of intermediate level 7-8 kyu players, one refers to the class of skill that would be unbeatable when receiving a nine stone handicap from an amateur 1 dan. This is called the single figure kyu, and is one who has, in general, mastered the necessary tactical expertise regarding fundamental maneuvers while gaining confidence at the same time.
