This is a very complete and well organized theory book. It breaks down the theory into building blocks that let you stop at any time to work on what you have read so far. For me it would and will be better if you have a teacher that understands all this stuff, because no matter how well it is explained, there will be questions that the book triggers and are not answered in these pages. Overall though a very good book for new jazz students.
