Description

Established in 1998, Afterall is a journal of contemporary art that provides in-depth analysis of art and its social, political, and philosophical concepts. Each issue provides the reader with well-researched articles on artists, with two newly commissioned writers discussing each artist's work from different perspectives. Contextual essays and reviews further develop the thematic focus of each issue. Afterall is published by Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, in editorial and research partnership with Museum van Hedendaagse Kunst Antwerpen (M HKA); the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design, University of Toronto; and the Art Gallery of Ontario, Toronto; and NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore; in association with the University of Chicago Press.
