This volume explores significant areas of debate amongst evangelical Christians on aspects of death and the afterlife. The study begins by setting out the perspectives of our contemporary culture and the biblical world before highlighting the traditional understanding of the biblical perspective and the issues over which evangelicals have become more polarized. These more controversial areas are examined in the subsequent chapters.
