Working from the Encyclopedia of Needlework published in the late 19th century by the famous T.H. de Dillmont, and based on several stitches Dillmont used, Hazel has devised a book which thoroughly outlines and breaks down the basic needle lace techniques you need to create beautiful embroidered pieces.

Each of the 40+ stitches is explained with a clear diagram and step-by-step instructions. All have been detailed on one side of the page only, allowing you to place a magnetic cross-stitch board underneath. You can then use the magnetic rulers that come with the board to mark the row that you are working on, making the instructions easier to follow.
