Welcome to Traditional Macedonian Recipes. The Ladies’ Section Mara Buneva (St. George’s Macedono-Bulgarian Eastern Orthodox Church, Toronto) originally assembled this cookbook as a Canadian Centennial Project, but in fact created a timeless treasure. On the 50th anniversary of the original printing of the book, it was found that there was still a demand for these cherished recipes, and that our audience had grown far and wide. The design and format are new, but the content is exactly the same (including the 40 additional recipes in the latter version). We hope that you will enjoy the book and maybe cast a thought back to the traditional cooking of those who came before us.
