Man in the Pandemic

Frank Smith, an unemployed accountant paces his house too afraid to go out during the pandemic. The coronavirus, social unrest, systemic racism, climate change, and the crumbling of democracy, all seen like minor annoyances as Frank struggles to maintain his sanity by walking in a circle around his house a thousand times a day. As he walks, he thinks about the triumphs and disasters of his life in this morbidly humorous tale. The story, at times, falls into a stream of consciousness as we see Frank slowly dissolve before our eyes. The story makes clear our need for others to survive.
