Bush Forester For Wilderness

The life and achievements of the federal forester who planned and drew the boundaries of the Alpine Lakes and William O. Douglas Wildernesses in Washington State. Richard F. (Bush) Buscher served as a Forest Service planner, district ranger, and forester. He became an eloquent champion of forest management and Wilderness preservation.
