Description

Is it possible to improve my memory and learn to remember well? Of course. The only necessary condition is the absence of pathological memory disorders.

A healthy person can develop his memory to such perfection that he can quickly memorize the necessary material in a shorter time and more firmly than he did before. For this, it is essential to know the laws of memory and ways of rational memorization.

I don't pretend anything like revolutionizing your working memory with a single overnight reading.

This book aims to provide readers with practical information and realities based on the functions of working memory.

This book contains essential topics that underwent in-depth research and creativity on the part of the author to bring out the best content available on the subject of working memory.

This book attempts to discuss the topic of working memory in detail so that readers can fully grasp this concept and also go on to apply what they have learned in their practical lives.

Here is a little check. "What is your memory?"

You should answer questions that will help give an idea of what are the characteristics of your memory. How often does this happen to your memory? Very often (4 points), quite often (3 points), from time to time (2 points), very rarely (1 point), never (0 points).

Current affairs memory

1. You read something and find that you don't think about it at all; therefore, you are forced to re-read it all over again.

2. You do not remember whether the light or gas is turned off or the door is locked.

3. You go to the room and forget why you went there.

4. Go to the supermarket, you need to take four to five purchases, but there is no list, and you forget about one purchase.

5. You immediately forgot the name and surname of the person you just heard.

The memory of cases of medium remoteness

1. You cannot remember what you did on the last day off.

2. You forgot the name of your friend, whom you have not seen for a while.

3. You have forgotten how the joke you tell ends.

4. You forgot to pass someone's request.

5. You have to check on the map of the path that you once walked or rode.

The memory of far-distant events

To what extent can you recall something (2 points for each event that you cannot remember).

1. Phone number in the house or apartment where you lived before.

2. In what subjects did you take the final exams?

 3. How did you celebrate your 18th birthday?

4. Your first day at school.

5. Your favorite toy in childhood

How to count

1-10 points. You have a great memory.

11-20 points. Good memory, well above average (although you probably have to go to your diary, notes, and so on from time to time).

21-30 points. The memory is average. Like most of us, you rely on records, notes that you make for yourself.

31-40 points. Bad memory. Try to keep notes.

41-50 points. You are very forgetful.
