To honor its 100th anniversary, the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) has published Our First 100 Years, a 154-page hardcover book featuring dozens of high-quality archival photos alongside the personal stories of 77 Society members. Produced by the ASC Press, this limited-edition book offers an insightful look at renowned ASC members at work on sets and locations during every decade since 1919 in rare photos curated and restored by Charlie Lieberman, ASC printed in duotone for exceptional image quality. In addition to profiles and stills of the Society s 15 founding members, Our First 100 Years includes spreads on cinematographers Nestor Almendros, John A. Alonzo, Lucien Ballard, Michael Ballhaus, George Barnes, Robert Burks, Charles G. Clarke, Stanley Cortez, Linwood Dunn, Arthur Edeson, George Folsey, William A.
