Description

This book tells of the heart-rending journey of a teenage girl on the run. She finds herself deep in the woods of Maine, with an abusive boyfriend, homeless, and trying to survive. With no job or food, and without a means to escape, they survived by hunting wildlife while living in an abandoned hunting shack. Not prepared for the winter, they almost froze to death. Believing that she would never see her family again, she struggled each day to survive and prayed for God to rescue her from a life of hell with a mentally ill boyfriend. In time, her faith in God provided her with a determination so strong that she was able to persevere in the face of obstacles that came her way as a teenage single parent with three children. She finally breaks free when she ends the toxic relationship and decided to finish her education. After receiving her GED, she continued her education while raising three daughters and obtained her BA and eventually her Educational Specialist degree. Her story is a living testimony that with God all things are possible and that He will grant you the desires of your heart if you seek Him first. Her mission in life is to help other troubled young people like herself, find their strengths and direction in life.
