About the Author
William Leahy, MD, practices neurology outside Washington, DC. He became involved with home health aide education both out of an interest in the care his patients received and to give direction and meaning to the lives of young people in his community. Royalties from his books fund a foundation for teaching high school students health care careers. Dr. Leahy speaks to groups about enriching our communities and volunteers his spare time to teach. He has been named a "Hometown Hero" by Washington Magazine.
