Garden Style

This is the first entry in an all-new product line that will eventually number a dozen titles or more. The series will focus on ideas and inspiration, but unlike low-end books on home style, this exciting new line of books will feature a more sophisticated look and philosophy to match changing reader demographics, and will also include a large selection of easy-to-accomplish how-to projects. This book series welcomes in the Martha Stewart crowd, but it gives them something Martha simply will never understand-practicality. The books will be filled with ingeniously simple decorating ideas and projects-projects that are stylish, functional, and most of all practical.

Unlike other ideas books, which tend to be focused on individual rooms, the titles in the series show how to apply the most current, exciting style trends to any and all living spaces. In the Garden Style book, for example, readers will learn how to create this unique ambience outdoors and indoors, in home offices and home theaters, in basement recreation rooms and attic loft bedrooms. Other books of ideas are big with concepts, but they don't show you how to achieve any of their wonderful ideas. In startling contrast to the norm, these books will not only feature hundreds of great ideas, they will also give readers complete directions for creating dozens of refreshingly easy projects, none requiring more than a few simple steps to accomplish.
