Massachusetts, Our Home is a 3rd grade Massachusetts history textbook. The outline for this book is based on The Massachusetts Curriculum Framework for Social Studies and teaches history, geography, economics, New England Massachusetts, cities and towns of Massachusetts, and civics and government. The book places the state's historical events in the context of our nation's history. The text also features dozens of local photographs, both historical and contemporary that engage students in active learning and make history come alive.
