This book is such a hoot. A recent favorite new word, which I challenge you to use in a sentence: gynotikolobomassophilia.
I have my own copy of the book and have given it to two logophile friends and boy are we having fun. For those with some mal du siècle, I offer you this mantology: if you love words, this is one stonking read!
Well, it’s a dictionary, so it’s alphabetical! I do have one issue with it, though: some lines have two words, which makes it a little confusing.
Nothing! It’s wonderful and weird and, yes, it’s lovely. I wish the author had included a personal story about how she came to write the book.
