It is very useful for learning about group counseling.
As an assigned textbook, it was quite intriguing and I learned a lot. I especially appreciated the personal stories and accounts that the authors included.
It's fine but there is a lot of repetitive information that seems redundant.
Repetitive information and it was extremely long for an assigned textbook. Some of the information is also a little sexist but that makes sense since it was written so long ago and is from the perspective of older white men. However, they should still check their biases as long as they are making new editions of the book.
