PART ONE The year is 1604. The new King James 1, like his predecessor, is determined to rid England of Roman Catholics. Monasteries have already been destroyed by Henry VIII. Grave yards have been destroyed, plundered for the jewels buried with their owners. When Lord Mathew Whyte finds his mother's lucky ruby necklace left behind at her ruined grave site, he decided this must be a sign from God. He must make plans to assassinate the king of England. Relying on the luck of a talisman is dicey, as Mathew is about to find out. PART TWO The years is 2016. In Los Angeles, Clara Dudley has inherited a necklace from her ancestors who sailed to America in 1642 from England. When she wears the necklace and looks in the mirror, she sees another girl's face. With the intention of finding out who this girl is, she travels to England to search for clues. She soon discovers that the necklace has been hers in a past life and her spirit still lingers in a room that was once used as a hiding place by condemned Priests in 1605. Determined to free the apparition from earthly ties, Clara finds the path to her own future. A future she has never dreamed possible.
