Description

Back in April 2014 two authors, Joseph Devon and Tony Southcotte, decided on a personal challenge. They would take turns sending each other a mystery prompt and the receiver of that prompt would have to write up a story based on it in ten days. The idea was to get the creative juices flowing, get a little more work under their belts, and to have some fun along the way. From there the concept grew, adding more authors, more structure, more prompts, more stories, and more fun is not a tad more stress. This book is the result of the first 10 challenges issued in the Writer’s Arena. The prompts span everything from long-lost love to what it would be like to live in a world where giant monsters were the norm. The arena continues to grow and produce stories and more battles can be found each week at our website. We hope you enjoy this first anthology and we look forward to many more.
