Description

Living in a small town can be like living in a sheltered bubble at times. Things happen there but in a way that doesn’t change the look and feel of the town;until recently when there have been several changes that are really making some in Junction Fork think the “small town” innocence might be a thing of the past. But Barry and the guys are not letting this idea effect the way they live their lives, they still do what they have always done, have fun! Summer recess means doing as much as possible to have a good time before school starts up again. The last time we heard from Barry and the guys they ended their summer with several great stories to tell. And they also came to the conclusion that the old Warren house was actually haunted, now it is no longer there, just a memory that they will take with them. The town of Junction Fork is not like it used to be, but what is now days. The neighborhood is growing and new people are arriving as other people are moving to greener pastures. Barry and the gang manage to still remain the same bunch of teens that are just trying to pass the time by, well doing what most teens did in the nineteen eighties, as they like to put it, “just innocent fun and games”. They are also reaching a point in their lives when they are trying to find their way in the world, their calling. Barry finds out that life is more than baseball, music and fishing. He starts to understand that life moves along at a pretty fast pace and if you don’t jump on board you get left behind. A new family is moving in just down the street from Barry, a new teen that happens to be his age, and happens to be a cute girl that gets his attention. After all he is a testosterone fueled boy that notices the opposite sex quite frequently these days. This summer proves to be the best summer for learning the meanings of life and the true meaning of friends and family.
