Often I am asked to 'not build up hope' but, hope & a future is what we are promised. As humans, we may not realize we ask the LORD to do what we want, because we want what we want while we may not know what the LORD has 'in store' for us: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him" 1 Corinthians 2:9. To align with the LORD's plans for our life, begin by speaking life into each situation and request for the truth is life in Christ is what we have on earth and in heaven.
