TIMBER! (The Okanagans, No. 2)

Canadians are falling on hard times. Their government's high taxes make it difficult to earn an adequate living and, with a family to support, Bob Okanagan is feeling the pinch. So, when Loud Mouth Joe announces over the radio that Pig Head is offering a logging contract to the first company that can deliver a load of lumber, Bob flies out of his house, determined to win the contest and land the contract for his logging company, "Chew and Roll Lumber".However, Bob is not the only logger with his eye on the prize! As soon as he and his lumberjacks roll up their sleeves to dig in, they are challenged by the Lumber King, Peter! Who will win the contract? Our hard-working family man, Bob, with his crew of half-wits? Or Peter, with his modern equipment and loyal following? Or will a new, untried candidate  suddenly appear on the scene? The answer is yet to be found in the deep, secretive forests of the Okanagan.
