Description
"The Early Days of Pinehurst" is the story of how a desolate area in the backwoods of North Carolina became the Cradle of American Golf. The book is almost entirely comprised of facts which few know. They are all told with a storytelling or literary sensibility that author Paul Dunn described as "undoubtedly the best writing I've found on Pinehurst and the Tufts". As of May 2016, a new chapter about Roaring Gap ("the Summer Pinehurst") has been added to the book. In addition, Chris Buie has written a new book named "The Life & Times of Donald Ross". It is scheduled to be published by Classics of Golf in August of 2016.
