"The 25 Most Influential Books in the Post-Apostolic Christian Church" is the third and final part of a trilogy that includes "The 25 Most Influential People in the Post-Apostolic Christian Church" and "The Top 25 Events in the History of the Christian Church". It will focus on books written (or translated) after the death of the last apostle. To be included in the top 25 list, the work needs to have been an actual book, not a sermon, decree, letter, bull or blog. The book needs to have had a significant impact at least in its own time. Books in the Top 10 have had an impact from the time they were published until today. Both popular books ("Left Behind") and deep theological tomes ("Summa Theologica") are included on the list.
