The Secret of the Just

With the cloud of World War II looming over Vienna, Ernst Mann is forced to leave his home and set off on a perilous journey that spans Serbia, Nazi occupied Italy and the sacred chambers of the Vatican itself. Unbeknownst to him, Ernst is one of the ‘Just’; one of the so called, Lamed Vav; one of thirty six Jewish souls that embody a mysterious, metaphysical force that influences each and every step that he takes. Mann meets his counterpart young Bishop Lorenzo Giraldi. Together, they participate in a subplot in which the very foundation and moral balance of mankind comes into play. In this spellbinding drama we watch as the ebb and flow of moral forces are engaged; culminating in an unnerving, passionate and wondrous conclusion.
