Walking in Little Shoes

I wrote this nonfiction story as the proud daughter of a single mother and a fighter. While our life may constitute as a roller coaster of sorrow and laughter, we all have taken strength and inspiration from it. From the financial struggles riding destitution to the journey of seeking a life partner, this story will inspire and touch the hearts of any single woman, young lady, and dreamful soul. This is an anthem for all single women and mothers to sing. Finally, the unity women need to support one another through our battles is here! As a twenty-two-year-old woman, I now face the reality of how fortunate we all were to come out on top and standing strong, thanks to our mother. Just when the road seems dark and alone, you ll see the light streaming behind it. Looking back now and where we are today, the feeling remains purely euphoric.
