The Missing and Other Stories

A recurring dream involving the drowning of a six-year old draws us to the scene fifty years later in "The Red Mitten." "The Missing" begins as a humorous look at substitute teaching until a laid-back sub discovers something bizarre about students mysteriously dropping out of high school.
