Man's Diagnosis - God's Prognosis
Book details
Summary
Description
In 1993, Reverend Don Davis was afflicted with melanoma on his nose and underwent surgery to remove the cancerous area and reconstruct his nose. He had a recurrence of melanoma in two lymph nodes of the right neck in 1997 and again had to have surgery. This was followed by a year of injections of interferon, a newly approved drug for treating melanoma. He later suffered a heart attack. While these setbacks and complications were discouraging, through it all Reverend Davis looked to God as his source of strength. At each step along the way, God came through and helped him to overcome his situation. Although Reverend Davis did not know the future, he knew that God had a plan for his life and would be with him throughout his ordeal. In Man's Diagnosis, God's Prognosis, he describes how God strengthened him to face the obstacles that stood in his way during his battle with melanoma and how He can also strengthen anyone who is facing cancer in his or her life. Through his own experiences, he provides insights on how to: • Depend on God in daily battles • Deal with inner feelings • Learn to live with a killer • Stay positive when you want to quit • Help others in Jesus' name
