"Human anatomy and physiology is a complex yet fascinating subject, and is perhaps one of the most personal subjects a student will encounter during his or her education. It is also a subject that can create concern for students because of the sheer volume of material, and the misconception that "it is all about memorization." The study of human anatomy and physiology really comes to life in the anatomy and physiology laboratory, where students get hands-on experience with human cadavers and bones, classroom models, preserved and fresh animal organs, histology slides of human tissues, and explore the process of scientific discovery through physiology experimentation.
