From the Author
In the four years as an active foster family I gained a lot of insight. Each foster experience was very eye opening and unique. I still remember having so many emotions when the children moved into our home. Most individuals have limited knowledge of what foster children go through emotionally, physically, and mentally. Therefore, it has become my passion and desire to increase awareness about the experiences of children in foster care and provide comfort to those entering care as well as to the families taking on placements.
I want to thank those who have guided, encouraged, supported, and prayed for me throughout this journey. I want to send love to our nine foster children and many others who have expanded my worldview and gave me the courage to write this book bringing awareness to foster care. I hope and pray this book touches many lives.
