Description

The Rio Vista Writer’s Group was founded in the spring of 2016 by Cecille Giacoma, Jake Kendrell, and David Teves. During our time meeting weekly at the Rio Vista library, many writers have joined us in the pursuit of improving our writing, and giving each other support--hopefully while having a good time. It became apparent that we had some good stories floating among us, and it was proposed that we bring them together in one volume to prove to our friends and families that we’re not wasting our Thursday mornings. The stories vary greatly in style and tone. We have not censored ourselves in any way. They range from funny, to serious, to controversial. They are designed to open your mind and hopefully your hearts to the full spectrum of human thought and imagination. The stories included are not just from our main group, but the writing group at Trilogy and a small satellite group in Elk Grove. It’s our hope that you enjoy our efforts.
