Ingredients:

  • 1 Teaspoons Garlic, Minced
  • 1 Tablespoons Tomato Paste
  • ¼ Teaspoons Ground allspice
  • 1/8 Teaspoon Sea Salt, Fine
  • Black Pepper to Taste
  • 2 Carrots, Cut into 2 Inch Pieces
  • 16 Ounces Beef Chuck Roast, Trimmed
  • 2 Shallots, Peeled & Halved
  • 1 Celery Stalk, Cut into 2 Inch pieces
  • 8 Cremini Mushrooms, Halved
  • 1 Sprig Thyme, Fresh
  • 1 Cup Beef Broth, Low Sodium
  • ¼ Cup Dry Red Wine

Directions:

  1. Get out a bowl and mix together your tomato paste, allspice, garlic, salt and black pepper together. Use this mixture to season your roast before putting it in the slow cooker.
  2. Throw in the remaining ingredients and secure the lid. Cook on low for eight hours.
