Description

Pre-Algebra Test Practice Book is not intended to replace the classroom textbook. The book is to provide the information in order for students to explore the various styles of test questions including over 600 unit practice questions and over 200 Test Practice questions. The book has consolidated the general standards of 8th grade math to 10 units and each unit has 2 to 4 pages of unit reviews, which provide summarized information of the unit topic(s) and samples instead of providing specific step by step teaching instructions and examples which the students should find in their classroom textbooks. Each practice unit has 3 sets of practice questions, and each set contains 3 different levels of questions such as Section A for basic concept level, Section B for mastery level and Section C for higher-thinking level. Teachers and students can select the level to practice based on the learner's progress and comprehension. At the end, the book contains 3 Test Practices. Each test practice has 3 sections, and each section has 24 questions. Section 1 is calculator-free and students shall not use a calculator to answer the questions. Some standardized tests do not allow students to use a calculator in certain test sections. Students should also practice with time restriction to simulate the timed standardized test.
