"The NeuroLogic curriculum will help schools create trauma-informed classrooms that support brain-based learning and development while helping challenged children have breakthrough experiences in learning. Teachers, students, and parents will find the material to be accessible, interesting and novel, with suggestions for moving challenged children's minds out of the ruts they often find themselves in and revealing new opportunities for creative growth" Sandra L. Bloom, MD
This trauma-informed curriculum is designed to empower students to explore the amazing learning and healing potential of their brains. It is intended to be used with groups of children in grades 6-12 but can be adapted for use with individual students. Along with the information presented, chapters include brain-based interventions including breathing and mindfulness exercises to help students not only learn the information cognitively but experience the information through regulating interventions as they learn.
