This wooden icebreaker navigated many of the world's most challenging at both ends of the earth and served in the U.S. Coast Guard's Greenland Patrol during World War II.

NORTH STAR is the most complete account of this historic ship, wih many never-before-told details from its construction and maiden voyage to it's final tragic end as Estrelle del Norte.
