James (Closer to God Bible Studies)

Do you struggle with overcoming temptation? Do you sometimes say things you shouldn’t say? Do you have a hard time with comparison? Are you ever envious of that friend with the perfect life on Instagram? These are all things James talks about in the book of James.
We’ll cover all those topics and more in this Bible study. James is an application-oriented Bible study. Each day you’ll have a chance to use that day’s study to work through something in your life that’s happening right now. It may be a temptation, a relationship issue, something you’ve been struggling with forever, or something that just happened last night.
Use the questions in the study to explore what’s going on in your life, talk to God about it, then create action steps based on what you learned in the study and in your prayer time with God.
James is a 20-lesson Bible study for individuals, one-on-ones, or small groups who know each other well (or want to know each other well). It is also a great study for discipleship and mentoring relationships. Each of the 20 lessons covers a different topic which lends itself well to individual growth and/or group discussion.
