Bridge of Vocabulary : Evidence-Based Activities for Academic Success

The Bridge of Vocabulary is unique and easy to use. It contains 101 vocabulary instruction, enrichment & intervention activities in print form, with an additional 300 guided practice activites & independent practice worksheets on attached CD-ROM. Student sheets, picture cards & word cards provided on CD-ROM give students visual reinforcement for words learned. Level of activities ranges from preschool-high school/young adult, as indicated on purple tabs at edge of each activity pg. Preschoolers interact with pictures to learn early vocabulary concepts such as categorization & classification; elementary students complete both oral & written activities; older students experience abstract vocabulary concepts thru guided discourse & verbal interaction.
