The Origin of Metallix

Dr. Maxwell Krome is a genius in the field of nanotechnology. Funded by Redstone Research, he perfects a programmable alloy dubbed Metal X. Under the direction of C.E.O. Owen Parrish, Krome develops Metal X into an armor, strong enough to withstand the harshest environments on Earth. But Max has also been designing weapons systems for the suit, intending to sell it to the highest bidder. Parish cancels Krome's funding and fires him. Looking for ways to help humanity--and incidentally turn a profit--Parish recruits experts from diverse fields of expertise--forming a squad of troubleshooters-for-hire known as Team Metallix.
