Safe, Smart Billing and Coding For Evaluation and Management: An Educational Module

This is an educational module on CD, using Powerpoint and text documents. It is aimed at nurse practitioners, physicians and physician assistants practicing in medical offices. The CD includes current documentation guidelines from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services; the guidelines summarized by the author in plain language, with examples; Medicare's rules for billing nurse practitioner's services; exercises to test comprehension and a coding test, which can be submitted for a certificate of completion. To open the program, the reader needs Microsoft Word and Powerpoint viewer (Powerpoint viewer included on CD).
