Description
This program began in 1985 as a school celebration for Bach's 300th birthday. Over the next two years other teachers began to hear about the program and the decision was made to share this. Non-directed listening refers to the presentation of music to students in such a way that a teacher's role is to a genuine but informal interest in students' responses. The aim is to establish familiarity with the music in a uniquely personal way for each child.
