Excellent. It was recommended by a local I respect and it has not disappointed.
The overall organization is useful. All bird books are challenged in trying to help readers access specific birds. This one uses a color-coded system which I find way too difficult to use (many, many colors which are difficult to distinguish). In this regard, I like what The Peterson Guide provided: a general index right there after opening the cover. No fumbling through pages to find it further in or in the back.
