Description
This story is a romance but would more correctly be called a historical romance. Set in Tasmania in the days when Brisish convicts were transported for petty crimes it is a true portrayal of the lifestyle and hardships of the first settlers - mostly soldiers and prison guards, convicts, and business men or farmers. The last two usually were convicts who had served their time and stayed on to start a business or farm.
