Educational Development in the Small States of the Commonwealth: Retrospect and Prospect

This book makes a significant and timely contribution to the literature on educational development in small states. It examines the forces shaping past and present work carried out by the Commonwealth Secretariat, including ministerial mandates and meetings of experts and reviews the varied programs of activities that have resulted. Looking to the future, the book is designed to contribute to a new Commonwealth consultative process, and suggests a possible framework to help identify key questions for contemporary consideration, and potential themes and strategies for further development.
