Each yearbook volume is produced by a team of medical specialists who identify and organize the most important journal articles from a year-long search of over 950 journals. Each chosen article is then condensed into a structured summary so that the reader can glean the salient points quickly and easily. Accompanying the abstracts, the editors provide a commentary noting the practical and clinical applications of the summarized material. Reference to the original article is given along with original graphs, tables, figures and photographs.
